Hello fellow Putz House People. As I progress on the Collector's Guide I'm always rediscovering putz house that have been tucked away. I just thought I'd share this wonderful set of Small Flat Bases Coconuts. Has Tom Hull and Papa Ted pointed out these things usually come in sets of six or eight houses. Eight is probably what this set has. If you are aware of two or more from this I'd love to see them so I can catalog the set. They measure 5-3/8" wide x 3-1/2" deep x 3-3/4" tall. The church is 5-1/4" tall.

Pete, I love them all, what a great set.
It's great you are sharing your collection with us, thanks!
So now more houses to add to my bucket list

pete...
oh, boy!...vintage putz houses...an antique clockwork train...lead figurines...bottle brush trees with red wood bases...cotton ball lofts of snow...and lights...you certainly checked all the boxes with this display...
i think you should make your christmas cards with the first picture as the cover illustration...(do you know any good printers?

)
it also goes to show just how much of an impact can be made with just a handful of houses and a few accessories!...
my very best regards...
howard...

Just a little more Eye Candy for Mr. Paul Race and all of us that need a train under our Christmas Tree every year. To me there is no Christmas without the village under the tree accented with a Toy Train...

Greetings and Merry Christmas to all...
My "Pine Mountain Valley" village is 99% set up...I went with larger houses this year...and the 50+ "flatties" I've made over the years...
I'm still working on my Polar Express and Christmas Trolley layout in the shop/craft studio/train room...it's built around the "Ten Cent City" houses and a few others...hope to post some pictures of it later...
My very best regards...
Howard

Howard, I really love your Putz Scene. I particularly love the two green mansion in the front row left! Wonderfully executed. Original on the third from the left?

Your village looks just wonderful Howard. I see your platform works well for a variety of houses. Do you have it wired underneath for lights? Maybe you explained that previously but I couldn’t remember. It will be fun to see your 10 cent village too. I posted my wreath and thought it would be my only display this year, but I do want to make another candy box and it would be fun to figure out a nice way to display the ones I’ve made.
