When I was trying to make the elf hats I kept creasing the flocked paper, so I made a form out of sculpey clay. I made a cone shaped form and wrapped the pattern around it to get a perfect fit and fired away. Now when I wrap the paper no creases! I even glued it on the form, this really help to seal the edges and not bend the hat. Remove it quickly before the glue start to dry or it will be stuck on the form

Now my elf has a hat and I'm ready to work on the base and finish.

So cute, for some reason the elves sitting down with their legs in front of them remind me of Hardrock, Cocoa, and Joe.. Opps am i showing my age here. Debbie

I just finished making a great big family of elves. Everyone who comes over for Thanksgiving will get one.
