A Christmas Fairy Cabin I built...

Here's my "Christmas Fairy Cabin" I built over the Christmas Holidays. I used Howard's "candles in the window", Dolly Toy wreath windows, and red bow door. Also added fascia to the roof to give it a more "fantasy" look. Still thinking on what I'll do with the roof. Any ideas my friends? Enjoy!...
Cheers,
Will~

Is that hand cut. Looks similar to a die I have for my wive's Sizzix.

Yes Steve, it is! It's the Tim Holtz "Village Dwelling" die. I just bought a Sizzix BigKick about 2 weeks ago (literally the very last one left in a 100 mile radius!) Got the die off of Amazon, and BOOM! It cut that puppy out in 5 seconds flat. It's like going from a liquid propellant rocket speed to Warp drive "Star Trek" speed! It'll be a nice little addition to my box of building tools. I'm going to also buy the others and give them a try as well...
Cheers!

Will,
The thing about using the die is that you made it look totally unique and it looks vintage with the windows and the way you painted the corrugated cardboard. Very impressive. I also think you're right about a nice addition to your box of tools. It doesn't replace hand cutting little houses, it's just something to use at times.
Really nice little house.

Thanks Lucy for your compliment. I just love this die! I do agree it's a handy little tool to have. Nice thing is, you can really "mix it up" anyway you feel creative and still come up with so many different looks! You know what else I did? I took the scraps from the base cut out and used it for that fascia!

I will be purchasing the Manor, Bell tower, and the cottage soon. Can't wait to try 'em all out and see what I come up with!
Cheers,
Will~

Thanks Brian. I have 2 more dies coming in the mail soon. One for a bell tower, and the other for a manor. There are several more, but these ones will be my next projects. I will keep you all posted!
