If you love Christmas, cardboard Christmas houses, and related topics, and if you would like to contribute to the discussions on this forum, you may apply for membership. The subscription is only $1 a month, which you can set up through PayPal. (I apologize for the inconvenience, but, as it turns out, this is the only thing that has proven effective at keep hundreds of fakers a month from trying to sign in.)
Why are we being so picky? This is one of the nicest places to hang out on the Internet (some people would say the NICEST place), and we plan to keep it that way. In fact, as owner and moderator of this site, and personal friend to many of its members, that's my highest priority.
Once you are accepted into membership, you will be expected to log in and contribute to discussions in a positive way. If you fail to log in, fail to post, or post anything that is rude or discourteous, your membership will be discontinued with no refunds (although you can go into PayPal and stop the subscription fee from being processed in future months).

UPDATE for 2020: IF YOU USED TO BE A MEMBER, BUT YOUR PASSWORD NO LONGER WORKS
First of all, contact me so I can check to see if you're still in the system. If you are I will reset your password. If you're not, please read the next paragraph.
In 2017, after a multitude of warnings, I got rid of hundreds of fake and non-contributing "members" by purging the rolls of anyone who had never posted or who had not signed in for four years or more.
Recently, I've been contacted by two former members who ignored the warnings and whose membership was purged. If you were purged five years ago and just now realized that your password no longer works, I will ask you to go through the new membership application just like everybody else, including the $1 a month subscription fee.
Again, I apologize for the inconvenience but maintaining a "membership" that peaked in the thousands, with only about 50 real contributors and many hundreds who were not apparently interested in the subject matter at all just got old, and ridiculously time-consuming.
In the meantime, thanks for stopping by and have a great holiday season!
How to Apply for Membership
Re: How to Apply for Membership
Paul -
FYI...when I go to the Contact Page, no form is showing up for folks to contact you. Might be a glitch on my end of the Web, but thought you might want to take a peek and check.
