Cardboard Christmas

Hi guys...

Barbara was visiting , so I showed her two new large putz houses I'd spotted in late February. She was pretty excited about
some of their unusual features, so I decided to post them for your input. Some of the noteworthy details are: their overall size
(8.5" wide by 5.5 deep by 7-1/8" tall), the foil roofs are covered with cellophane, one of the little girls is unusually large, one of the
fences is made of bark, and its posts are made from a stick which still retains its bark. The colors used are unusual, with a great
variety of colors on each house. Hope you can see these details in the photos below.

These are incredible houses OK Pat! I really like the uniqueness of them. The cars are cute too! Thanks for sharing

Pat, thank you so much for posting these houses. They are incredible. So many great details to study. And any time a little house has that little car in front of it, well, it just tickles me.

These are special houses!! I love all the details and the figures. Do you think these may have been part of a set?

The houses do seem related, esp. considering the multi-color coating on both, and that both little cars have the same
silver squiggles painted on them. Also, Barb pointed out that the dog house roof colors don't match the houses, which
is unusual. But it would good to hear from the true connoisseurs in our midst!

Wow and WOW! The first house is so rare I've never seen it before! LOL Wonderful. I have two other houses that probably are part of this set. Two things; the girl is standard size and the different colored roofs on the doghouse/garage are usually different than the main structure. If I can ask are these in your collection? I'd love to borrow the first one to catalog in the Collector's Guide.
