Every Putztown needs...a Jack in the Box

This restaurant is familiar only in name to me. I don't think they were in Georgia when I was a kid. But we sure should have had one! The simple little box hub of the restaurant, extended covers over drive throughs, all look easy to make. And that Jack. So many variations to be more seasonally appropriate are possible. The specific image from H.A.M.B. is "The first Jack in the Box on 63rd Street and El Cajon Boulevard in San Diego. This was the first hamburger stand to have intercom technology and a drive-thru window. So cool!"
