Ski Village

Please use this forum for photos of your putz villages - some of you don't make your own houses, but you still display a lot of artistry when you combine and arrange them. And the rest of us would love to see your work. Again, it works best if you resize your photos to 800px wide or less before you upload them - Paul

Ski Village

Post by Lynn »

After years of collecting the skiers and making my first loggie I was able to put together a ski village for after Christmas. I am hoping to add a new house next year with a skating pond.

Wonderful winter ski scene. Still winter in Wisconsin. Expecting 3 - 5 inches today!

I’ll just echo everyone’s comments on your ski village. What a nice way to feature a loggie and your tree arrangement is so authentic looking. Did you paint those ski figures?

Hi Laurie, I touched up one or 2. Always a dilemma do I paint/restore them or leave as is.

Lynn, I love your village! Great job on the loggie, and placement of the figures. It's charming! And is that a hoot owl in the tree over the loggie?

Love it! Barb

Thanks everyone

Barb that is an owl in the tree. It's actually a bead!! It works out really good in my Halloween village.
