greetings to all...

i have been looking for an interesting "flattie" project for quite a while...then my long time forum friend, Barb, sent me a photo of the front of a vintage Christmas card with a similar subject...but from a slightly different view...it was just the jog my memory needed to recall a picture of a vintage zinnfiguren i had saved off the internet...but had temporarily forgotten...naturally, i had to dig right in and start the project...see the progress photo and free pattern below...

note...i must admit i did "borrow heavily" from the original...and since the photo was copyrighted...i don't feel i can post a picture of the vintage piece...

i'll update the project as it progresses...
