50s Gargraves RR

What trains do you use with your putzes? Do you try to match period? Color? Scale? Any other discussions regarding trains and putzes.

50s Gargraves RR

Post by paulrace »

Just came across this for sale in Ohio. It was already pending when I saw it so I wasn't tempted, but I thought how much Papa Ted would have loved to see it. The track is Gargraves, by the way.

Sorry for the wide format (breaking my own 800-pixel rule), but this is truly a one-of-a-kind.

Wow...right out of the last century for sure...when we played with three dimensional electro mechanical toys and not virtual ones on a tablet or PC screen...

About Ted...my "semi educated model train mind" tells me Ted would be telling us all why you never put any switches on or near a change in grade and why it would never work...just saying...

Thanks for posting this blast from the past...

My very best regards...

Howard...
