Hello everyone and a belated Merry Christmas to you all!
I’m Dale and I’m from Pennsylvania.
I recently became interested in Putz houses and finally found a specific set that I was looking for, although I paid dearly for it haha. It is a set of 8 coconuts I believe from the 30’s.
I also found some patterns on the paperglitterglue site and I did my first practice build using one of those patterns. Thanks Lucy!
For now, I’m just learning techniques and coatings and having fun. So far, I've built a little A-frame and the Hatcher Pass A-frame, which is in Alaska. I am also building a mini replica hiking shelter from my favorite local hiking trail!
I will most likely focus on building small simple patterns and A-frames and maybe some little ornaments.
I’ve also been collecting and painting vintage paint by numbers for many many years, so I may sneak some of that in as well haha.
I love A-frames and I am in the process of building a for real tiny A-frame cabin with a clear, flip open roof section. Maybe I will build a Putz version of it someday!
I will post up some pictures of my projects soon!
Looking forward to learning and also sharing my projects! Thanks for reading!
