JUST WHEN YOU THINK YOU'VE SEEN IT ALL...

Hello Cardboard Christmas Folks. It's hard to imagine that unseen Putz Houses keep showing up but there's something new for me. Original MIMIC CANDY CONTAINERS PUTZ HOUSES from the 1930's. I hardly ever go over to Esty but things are slow so I stopped by for a visit. I found six interesting houses. I kept going back to look at the sales but I wasn't sure what I was looking at? There was just something not right about these houses. Then I dawned on me, there is no light hole in the back... these are Candy Container houses in shapes I was very familiar with! By the time I figured it out 3 of them were sold. I hurried and was able to capture three of them. Happy and sad at the same time. It was horrible that the set was broken up. I even asked the seller to put me in touch with the other buyer but I never heard back. How sad. Luckily the original seller took wonderful pictures so I can still add these to Candy Container Chapter. Have any of you seen any of these before? I photo shopped one of the pictures so you can see their twin. The onlt flaw to these pieces is that an old Rail Roader cut a hole on the bottom of the base and cut down the height of the candy box!
