2025 Project No.11 - Mid-Century Modern House

It’s time for another Little Glitter House project. This one is modeled after an example featured on Papa Ted’s website. The first image shows the original house, dating from what he referred to as the “Last Hurrah” period (circa 1950-1955).

The second image displays the cardboard construction currently in progress. For patterns, refer to the provided PDF. As an option to manually cutting the scalloped roof edges, decorative edge cutting scrapbooking scissors or pinking shears may be used.

I’ll be posting an image of the finished house in a week or so. Stay tuned.

I've seen that house hundreds of times online, but I never made a connection to Mid-Century Modern. Of course! Looking forward to seeing this one develop, Howard.

Very nice Howard! I just got a hold of one of these rarer MCM houses a few months ago. ;)
