good evening to all...

here's the last major project i built in 2013...i worked from well over two dozen photos of the actual house...

the base measures about 12" x 8" x 5/8" thick...house is approximately 5" tall including base...

as usual, i had to compress and condense some of the architectural features to make it a manageable size...

my very best regards...

howard...

Howard, someone named "Anonymous" on Maria's blog asked: "Howard you have done it again. How do you do the little round bushes. Do you buy them pre-made and if so, where?"

paul...

those round bushes start as regular bottle brush trees...i cut off the top and trim to shape with scissors...usually i have to paint on some more snow detail...then frost with glitter...

i've seen round shape trees at craft stores...but they are usually too big...

did you notice the flag?...wonder where that came from?...

my very best regards...

howard...here in a a cold north florida...but i like every minute of it!...
