good afternoon...
it‘s a new month and time for a new project…or two…
i found a very small picture of this house on ted’s site…he called the category “candy boxes”…here’s a link…scroll down about halfway…
http://www.cardboardchristmas.com/papat ... eriod.html
there are pictures of other similar houses on his site…but they are much larger and with more details…
the second picture is of all the parts except the base, foundation trim and the folded corner column pieces...fence sections will be cut to fit after the base is finished...
not sure of the colors of yet…but it will probably have a sand finish with a blush of mica flakes…
my very best regards…howard…

good afternoon...
the house is starting to take shape...still have to add the single-face corrugated trim around the base of the house...
then it's on to primer and finish...base measures 5" x 6 1/4" x 3/4" high...overall height, including base, is 5"...
the project looks rather drab right now...overlook the gray primer on the body and the unpainted trim, base and fence...
my very best regards...howard...

Looking very interesting, Howard! Will this house lift off from the base to reveal a "container" for candy, or no?

good evening...
what a difference a light coat of sand mixed in with the white primer makes...actually the "sand" is bird cage gravel...
i'm probably going to follow a color scheme like one of the other houses in the first picture in this topic...
the gray, green and salmon house looks pretty good...
paul...note...no pastels...
my very best regards...howard...

greetings to all...
just about finished with this project...the bottle brush trees shown are only temporary...
i'll be replacing them with taller model railroad scenery trees...i've used them before on a few projects...
hopefully i can get them by the end of the week...
i'll post a picture when the project is totally finished...
my very best regards...howard...
