greetings to all...

it's another new month and another new project...but this time i'm starting with the base...just the opposite of how i usually work...

the flat base measures 7 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 1/8" thick...the raised part measures 5 3/4" x 2 3/4 x 3/4" thick...stairs are approximately 1" wide...the bases are the usual laminated corrugated cardboard with heavy card stock edge banding and covered with paper...

i'll be posting progress pictures of the house later...it's one of the most interesting houses i've seen in a long time...and i get to build two at the same time...

i've had invaluable help from several sources with this project...but i swore to protect their identity... :D

my very best regards...howard...

Very nice, and festive. The colored balls balance out the blue glitter nicely. Are those luffa sponge trees that you added balls to?

trees with balls are "luffa"...balls are from those strings of dollar store "party beads"...

other very thin trees are bottle brush trees i "pruned" to shape...

(then i found the "canadian pine stems" i posted in the topic about the pack-o-fun church)...

my very best regards...howard...
