Sad little house

Hello -
Does anyone recognize this little house? I just love him and restored what I could, but I don't know what kind of roof was over the door and if it had a tree. I couldn't find another house like it in my search and would appreciate any help identifying it. I cleaned, repainted and guessed at what kind of roof to make. Glass Diamond Dust was added to the roof and black glitter added to the bare spots. I glued on red cello left over from another house and carefully reattached the window mullions. I had to build a new base and may add Snow Tex if anyone thinks something like that may have been on there originally.
Thanks for any help - Laurie

Laurie, sorry I can't help you with the house's history. I just wanted to say your reconstruction looks great. Salvaging the mullions was a good touch.

This is a cute little house! You dont see the black on too many houses either. Excellent job bring some life back to it. The door over hang probably wasnt corrugated on the original, but who knows :) what you did is just fine!!! It looks like it may of had a thin luffa tree with no tree trunk that was ripped off on the corner opposite the the door base on the bare cardboard showing, but a lot of those smaller houses didnt have any extras. Pretty bare bones. So unless you want to add to it, you are probably pretty close to the original!! There are so many variations on these houses it was up to whatever the builder felt like doing. :) Thanks again for sharing, great project!!
