Some time back, Tom sent me this link. I'm posting it here with the photos for future reference.

The last set of these foam based Dolly toys (last sets made) sold on eBay went over $130. Perhaps these will stay a bit more reasonable. Maybe the Japan church is holding it back. Notice the starch and mica covered weed twigs stuck in the foam - an innovation by a former owner. I remember when my grandma did this to weeds and used them as a table decoration. Don't know for sure what the formula was. LOL. Tom

P. S. I never lusted after these foam based houses and remember when Styrofoam was the latest thing and always thought it looked cheap and tacky - yes at 12 I had traditionalist opinions. At least the foam "Styrofoam balls" sort of looked like snowballs but with their pipe cleaner colored hooks they were just C & T to me and we had some on our tree even though they were grandma approved. (She often had the latest thing on her tree along with vintage ornaments and the poor ancient wax cherubs she had had forever.)

(The original listing was at: http://www.ebay.com/itm/8-Vintage-Cardb ... 7675.l2557 )

I have the green house--minus the trees--it's my fave Dolly--I have a few now--because of the windows!

I think I've seen the green house on a cardboard base, too, unless I'm mistaken.
