My "Lil' Yellow Barn" restoration project...

Post by Clinton »

Got this barn off of eBay a while back.Probably a 1930's(?) house (and paid probably too much! lol..) It had been there for a while and I just decided to give the little guy a new home. $10 and he was mine. Just got through fixin' him up. I pulled it apart and did a full onslaught restoration... Enjoy!...

Will...

Super "rehab" of tired little barn house...it now looks like it did the day it came from the five and ten cent store...

It also looks like you've "discovered" the beauty of photographing on a black background...it really does make the viewer focus on the subject and not the background...

Again, great job.

Some of your homemade coco on the fence.
Looks like the windows and door go replaced.

Did you end up doing anything else.

Great job.

Looks like a happy rehab! I don't own any coconuts, but maybe someday I'll try one. Thanks for the inspiration!

Yes Howard, it was looking pretty hashed! It's amazing what a little sprucing up will do! Yes, I LOVE black background now. Thanks for the inspiration sir.

Thanks Lynn. Do you own one too? It was definitely a labor of love!

Thanks Steve. Coconut all around my friend. I literally took it all apart, scraped it all off, coat of paint, and sprinkled my "homegrown" coconut all over it! Had to make a special batch for the roof though.

Thanks Brian! Turned out very colorful! A true lil' happy barn here... :P

Thanks BurghGal. You should try one! It's a challenge, but you will for sure enjoy it! :)

It's like a "pack-o-fun" size building Lynn. It's hard to believe they made the little ones during the BIG coco period as well! :)
