nippon light house

Post by Colleen »

Hi everyone, I got an email from an ebay person who said my nippon house was made in the late 50's? So I'm confused...Ted's page says that the box set had the date of 1936 on it and my little house was in that set. Also with the "patent pending" wouldn't that lead you to believe that it was an earlier house? Any opinions out there? Thanks everyone...Colleen

Well I'm no expert on dating putz houses, but of the things I know something about (like saxophones and model trains), I would have to say that eBay vendors are wrong at least 35% of the time. Did he offer any evidence of what he said?

Plus, it's at least possible that a similar one was made at some point after the war. But I doubt it.
