Making a "Father Christmas" flattie...

Greetings to all...
Here are the patterns for “Father Christmas“ and some photos…this project is very much like the “Snowman” flattie I posted earlier…here’s the link…

Making “Father Christmas” follows the same basic steps…cutout the body…add the optional “layering details” (see below)…mount on a base…prime…paint…add glitter to the base…finish with a couple of coats of high gloss clear spray…
The optional “layering details”…hat brim, face and beard…cuffs and coat trim…mittens and small gifts he’s clutching…give the flattie depth and create shadows…note…the flattie can be made without them…just paint in the details…
I also added three things that aren‘t shown in the photos…coat trim below the beard…a tiny piece of broom straw for the tip of the tree trunk…and for strength…a paper clip wire brace glued to the back…go to this link and scroll down…you’ll see a similar back brace…
