Hi.

If you would like to let the rest of us know a bit about you, especially if you have any special skills or knowledge that the rest of the group might be able to draw on, that would be good. Also, if you have a blog or other web resource that's related to what we do here. . .

Hi.
I'm new to this forum and to Putz houses. But I love all things crafty and I'm looking forward to making a village for my train set. I love the information and the talent that you all share.
I found this photo of a rustic village in the December 1998 issue of Martha Stewart Living. I have lots of pine cones, we'll see.....

Hello, Sandy.

Welcome to the Cardboard Christmas forums. I remember that photo from the magazine! I've wanted to try to make a pine cone roof, but I've never done it. The entire landscaping for those little houses is wonderful. Thank you for reminding me. Whenever you build something or even have questions, be sure to post your stuff. We love to see people's putz houses.

Welcome! The photo you posted brought back fond memories of my Dad. He made this little house from a milk carton, acorn caps, moss, twigs, oak leaves and pine needles. Maybe I got the putz house gene from him!

Thanks for sharing.
