Houston Putz 2018

Please use this forum for photos of your putz villages - some of you don't make your own houses, but you still display a lot of artistry when you combine and arrange them. And the rest of us would love to see your work. Again, it works best if you resize your photos to 800px wide or less before you upload them - Paul

Houston Putz 2018

Post by Lee »

This is my Putz village for 2018. It is a mix of vintage, refurbished, new and ones that I have made. I have boxes of more houses but alas, not the room to display them.

Perfect atop your antique furniture piece---that church is quite beautiful. I have a friend who puts all houses out by using the "tops of furniture"--her bookcases, armoires, television set--and lots of battery operated wire lights when they are on sale.

What a pleasant village and nice way to display it. Are your figures HO scale?

Hi Lee, this is a great way to display your village. I love the white house with the attach cardboard tree and santa.

Not only is it a great display, it is MOTORIFIC! The turquoise Ford truck is a nice looking vintage Ideal Motorific toy. They're not all that easy to find. It fits in perfectly.

Merry Christmas everyone and thank you all for your kind words.

DCrowe and Maria, unfortunately the motorific truck is missing its motor... but it is still a cool piece.

Howard, yes I do collect clocks. Other times of the year this sideboard is covered with them. I have loved clocks since I was a kid.
The collection has gotten out of control and I have been trying to pare it down some... Wish me luck!!
