Aunt Millie's Mansion Millies Candy House

Post by PutzinVT »

So I splurged and got Peter's plan for the a candy house.

So here it is. The Santa is based on instructions that Howard posted a while back.

The coating is Estes Art sand. I was able to buy it at a local AC Moore craft store.
It is around $3.00 for a 2 lb bag. With two pounds of it, it should last a long time.

The white is not real white but more of a natural sand color of white.

I used that for the house. To attach the sand, I used a stucco mix of Peter's making.
I'll let him post if he wants to share the recipe.

Oh, I'm using the same sand for my 10 cent City house too.
Comes in a bunch of colors. Just matte Modge Podge to attach that.

Oh, I added a bit of fine black glitter to give it some specs of black.
Kinda get washed out in the photo.
In person it shows up fine.
