Here is a perfect companion project, Howard: a Jeep Surrey. They were available in these three 2-tone combinations and feature striped canvas roof panels with fringe. Jeeps of this era are all flat panels, so creating a simple one from cardboard would be quite similar to your ingenius little trailer. I haven't searched but I would bet that drawings for a paper or cardboard toy Jeep can be found online.

finally...some shop time...been away for a few days...great to be home...

the jeeps in the previous photo would be perfect!...i especially like the turquoise one...we'll just have to wait and see...thanks for posting...i'm always looking for project inspiration...

i did finished the trailer this morning...may still add a few details...door knob, tail lights and tag...the awning was drawn on the computer and printed on card stock...the gnome now has a permanent home...

The camper trailer is such a new and exciting theme in putzing. I can hardly wait for the ocean liner.
