little cottage...

Post by Howard »

greetings to all from an extremely sunny, hot and humid north florida...

i'm so looking forward to a little cooler weather...what better way to take my mind off the oppressive heat than make a little cottage?...at least i can think it's cooler...

4" x 4" x 1/2" thick base...4" tall including base...the snowman is actually a 1 1/4" tall ornament...

my very best regards...howard...

The little cottage is great, Howard. And you share my notion of thinking about cooler weather with such pleasantries. Today is the hottest day of the year here in north Georgia, predicted to be 96 degrees. Yuck. So a smiling snowman beside a charming cottage is a nice seniment indeed. Thanks for sharing.

Howard, such a sweet little cottage and snowman. I wish I could share some of the cool weather we are having here in RI. :)

Very nice. Clear glitter, no mica as far as I can tell?

Actually it's the same mixture of sulyn brand crystal glitter and mica flakes I usually use...I think the look may be distorted by the lighting and the iPhone photograph...

The iPhone is so handy...but I really need to get back to using a digital camera for close ups...

I'm also working on better lighting arrangement...new daylight fluorescent tubes in the shop lights plus light diffuserrs...commercial diffusers are available...but you know me...I'd rather "make" than "buy"...

My very best regards...Howard...
