new lighthouse..."sandy shores" revisited...

Post by Howard »

greetings to all...

several years ago paul and i did a series called "sandy shores"...here's the link...

http://www.bigindoortrains.com/primer/g ... shores.htm

while i was looking for a new little glitter house project...specifically a vintage toy ocean liner...i stumbled across a lighthouse that inspired me to make another one...more on the fantasy side...not as realistic as the first sandy shores lighthouse...

it stands about 8 1/2" tall...base is about 4 1/2" x 7"...there are the traditional light holes in the back of the lower and the cottage...but each can also be illuminated by tea lights...the "beacon" is a standard tea light as well...

by the way...a little glitter house version of an ocean liner may show up sometimes in 2015...i hope...

merry christmas to all...

my very best regards...howard...

Again.

Nice.

Be interested in seeing the ocean liner you have planed.

Howard, you've let the cat out of the bag about the boat. You know the problem with setting this kind of expectation. . . . .

Sorry, Will...the ocean liner "sank" before completion...but all the passengers and crew survived...perhaps I'll try it again someday...
