It's almost a new month...and time for new project...this one is based on the February 2002 "House of the Month" on Ted's site…(I thought there used to be more info about the original house...but it seems to have vanished)...
My version is similar...not an exact copy...I also scaled it back to the size of the other "Pack-of-Fun" houses...here are links to the first two groups…

I built the house and attached the roof first...then made the porch...the key is making sure the post holes line up...and giving the top a slight pitch to the front...just an 1/8" or so...
The first picture is of the original house...the “little glitter house” pictures are next…patterns for the pieces will be posted shortly…
My very best regards…Howard...

I like your proportions better than the source house.

good afternoon...
here are the other parts of the project with the exception of the paper door...having a few new doors printed very soon...
the toothpicks sticking out the bottom of the trees will be glued into holes in the base...
going to use about the same house and base colors as the original...and finish off with mica flakes and glitter...
my very best regards...

Looks great, as always.

This is a lovely re-creation of the Feb. 2002 house of the month. The curved stairs are beautiful. Thank you for showing us how you made the steps.

good morning...
here is the finished house...i'll let the picture speak for itself...the body may appear to have a green cast to it...but it doesn't...it is actually a bright yellow...i'm pretty sure it's due to the "shared" light reflection from the blue background...and the florescent lighting in my shop...

Howard, thanks for posting. Some of the earlier photos didn't show up here, so I went back to my archives and restored them. Sorry about that. Please let me know if you see any other places where the photos are missing.
