Thanks Will I never thought of using rit dye I just added the same type paint I use for the houses diluted with water.

To Howard: Answers to your questions...

1) For the "stucco" effect on my Hacienda, I use a very fine, high mesh grit sand that I used during my decorative concrete overlays years ago while I lived in Florida. I still have well over 200 lbs. of the stuff, so I will probably have enough to do a couple of thousand of these houses before I run out anytime soon! Hehehe...
2) As for the glass glitter, I sprinkled it generously all over, but-- the pictures don't seem to show it very well. I need to figure out how to get a better shot for that! ;)

Nice job Will. I definitely like the darker color wash. I too have trouble getting my glass glitter to shine in a photo. Maybe someone can enlighten us.
