This is another house I built to go with my collection of ornament sized houses.
This is a scaled down size of one of Howard's Mills.
I wish I was as good as Howard photographing these.
The pic does not do it justice.

Another ornament sized house
Re: Another ornament sized house
I love it. I have been dreaming of a tree covered with just glitter houses...
Photography is always a learning process. Especially for close ups.
I remember from a photography class years ago (before digital cameras) to hold your
elbows at your side, instead of pointing out, and then try not to breathe
right before you take the shot.
I have found from trial and error photographing close ups of my quilting
not to get to close to the item. Stand back a bit and use the digital zoom.
This allows more light into the lens. You can always crop it in software later.
And turn OFF the flash. My canon digital works best with the flash off for
close ups, but each camera is going to be different. Good luck.
What did you use for the base of your? Looks way easier than layers of corrugated.

Re: Another ornament sized house
The photo is a bit deceiving.
The house is 3" wide
The base is a single piece of 1/8" cardboard.
My wife is a Stamp'in Up© demonstrator This cardboard is a backing board they use when they ship
one of their types of 12 x12 scrapbooking paper.
Oh, the house is a sized down version of one of Howard's

If your photo doesn't do your house justice, it must be SOME house because the photo looks great. Keep 'em coming.
