2015 Fireplace Putz

Please use this forum for photos of your putz villages - some of you don't make your own houses, but you still display a lot of artistry when you combine and arrange them. And the rest of us would love to see your work. Again, it works best if you resize your photos to 800px wide or less before you upload them - Paul

2015 Fireplace Putz

Post by OKPat »

Hi guys !

Had gotten a little complacent with the fireplace putz, but some lucky finds this year got me fired up again. The first was the marching band
found at a flea market by my husband, who announced it had putz potential. He was right. Then I picked up a few vintage vehicles of the right size, one so badly busted up the seller said, "Aww, just take it lady!". Had some fun restoring that baby! Then Howard graciously gave all of us instructions for his fab flatties, and I made his lamplighter. Thanks again, Howard.

Anyway, with all the new hustle and bustle in town, I get a real kick out of seeing it. Enjoy!

That is a beautiful display. I love everything about it. The Santa flying in the chimney is a special touch.
