Interesting House

Post by PutzinVT »

I came across this house on Ebay.

Interesting that it has brick along the bottom, and the 'Post Office" sign.
Is this a real house or one someone added on to it.

I never came across one before.

Still no snow up here in Vermont.

Is this a cardboard house or one of those composite houses the Japanese made for a while?

From the other picture in the auction and the description.
It seems to be cardboard not composite.

Steve, the frost on our trees and roofs in Ohio is as thick as snow. Does that count?

Thanks for sharing that photo. I've never see anything in this class either. I will guess that it's pretty much original. To me, English-language signage, "brick" foundation and lack of glitter implies it was made for train use. But beyond that I'm stumped!

Thanks for the input.

I'm thinking of making a repro.
Might wait till after the holidays.

Up here, no snow is good snow.

Would like a white Christmas, thou. Then it can all melt.
