GO VERTICAL

This forum is a place for our readers to pass on things they've figured out that will help other readers. Several folks who are experienced in building, collecting, and displaying putz houses stop by frequently, so check back for new ideas, and add some yourself. Any suggestions you have, things you've learned that you'd like to pass on, weird problems you need help with, all are welcome here. - Paul

GO VERTICAL

Post by maria »

A lot of people tell me they wish they had more room for a village--instead of going horizontal, go vertical!

I've seen variations of this "tree" all over flickr

Just curious - does anyone here keep a tree up all year (preferably a fake tree :-) just cuz it looks neat?

Hi Ed--I don't keep mine up all year; for me, it would lose the "excitement" of opening the boxes and "re-discovering" them all over again!

Here's another "going vertical" putz---

This cupcake/desert stand is about 17inches tall and perhaps great for smaller putz houses and scenes on say, a side table; price is right
