POSSIBLE "FLATTIE" INSPIRATION

What kind of figures have been used with cardboard Christmas houses and villages, where do you get appropriate figures today, how do you make, prepair, repair or otherwise maintain figures?

A friend came across this wonderful 1898 booklet for children--with tracing designs--it's actually a series of booklets all in one file--it contains many objects, animals, figures which--if properly adapted--might provide some flattie inspiration--
