Coating question

Post by PutzinVT »

Hi:

I'm working on a new house.

It has the kind of finish, that for lack of being able to describe it.

It looks like it was dipped in a thin plaster with some fine glitter in it.

I was wondering if anyone has a good way to reproduce that kind of coating.

Thanks,

Steve

I've seen it on lots of houses.

Here's one w/ a close up.
To me it looks like a type of plaster but it has some glittery stuff mixed in.

Steve...

Could it be pink glass glitter?...It could even be pink mica flakes...I believe Meyer Imports sell both...

Might be worth getting an ounce of each to do a test...

My very best regards...

Steve,
I like that coating whatever it is. I hope you can figure it out because it looks nice.
