Ebay Auction

Post by PutzinVT »

I know some of you don't follow Ebay auctions.
But this one may go for big money.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/361989587331

It's an auction of 21 houses.

Some I've only seen on Ted's archive.
There's 5 of the boulder houses. these you hardly ever see.

There's 4 of the one Brian made a repro of:

And another one I've not seen before.

Currently at $510.00.

I just don't understand why these people bid before the last day. This is one that I would be tempted to bid on, but I will wait until the very last day.

I don't have any houses and this way I could have a whole collection with ONE bid. We'll see how crazy it gets.

Thanks for keeping us informed.

Just checked.

2 days left and now at $710.00.
Wonder if it will go over $1000.00.

I've been following this with great interest...(I'm NOT one of the bidders)...

Steve...I knew you were correct that the price would go to over a grand...I'm certain the winner will be a true collector or a reseller...i can see either one keeping the best of the best examples of the duplicates and then relisting the others one at a time...a good way to get what they want ant recoup some of their cost...

Holy Cow!!!

The auction ended.

It went for a cool $3,300.99

Divide that by the 21 houses.
that's $157.19 per house.

Wow!!!
