My own twist on the "Dolly Tower" for a haunted house!...

Post by Clinton »

Lucy really inspired me on this one, so-- I made a version of my own! I haven't built the base yet, but hopefully that will be done in a few days. Still a "W.I.P"... Stay tuned!

Oh man, that is incredible. I love the clock, the purple coconut, the lime green shutters, the candelabra in the windows, all of it. The Dolly tower pattern is perfect for Halloween, isn't it?

Will - this looks great! I love the purple coconut. Makes me want to try coconut and I never thought I'd say that. The clock and candelabra windows are perfect! I like the "flat" top in place of the spire, too. Really nice work - thanks for sharing it!

Charmingly spooky! I've never done coconut either, but it works really well here.

FINALLY DONE!....

Post by Clinton »

Warmest greetings to all of my good friends here--

Finally, I think this house is done! I call this one "Dracula's Castle". Used quite a bit of mediums and textures for this one. I may add a ghost, or skeleton. Not sure yet. Enjoy!...

Oh, I love this, Will! You did go all out. The light in the tree is magnificent. Did you draw the tree? The stone wall is wonderful as well. I guess that is made out the concrete mixture that you've used before.

It's a great Halloween piece. I'm sure you son is thrilled with it. Lucy
