During the summer I was dealing with some carpal tunnel issues and my xacto cutting hand was doing PT and resting.
I stumbled across some vintage figures on Ebay.
They were called "Pinecone Dwarfs" I thought they were cool.
I found a kit to put together some.
I bought the kit and liked them so much, for the rest of the summer I research materials and learn how to make
molds so I could reproduce the faces. I also found out what spun cotton balls are as these figures are built from them.
I was not a fan of the looks of them sitting on a pinecone so I made some logs using dowel wrapped with corro card board.
I also found on line some santa figure that are made in a similar fashion.
And the third figure was a copy of one I got with an Ebay auction I won.
I was amazed how much time the research took. But I'm pleased with the results.
