Making a boy and girl playing in the snow "flattie"...

What kind of figures have been used with cardboard Christmas houses and villages, where do you get appropriate figures today, how do you make, prepair, repair or otherwise maintain figures?

Hi guys....

Cardboard left over from those lined office paper pads was my earlier choice for making flatties, but the cutting out process
started to hurt my hands. A little bird told me to try two layers of poster board glued together, and that is easier to cut .
Also, there are fewer hanging chads on the edges that need to be excised with the tip of an Xacto knife. It can be tricky to smoothly follow some of the curves, detailed edges and cut-throughs on some of Howard's designs. but once you're done cutting,
the rest isn't too hard... and Howard has taken the guesswork out of color combinations for us!

Keep 'em coming, Howard!
