Making a boy and girl playing in the snow "flattie"...

What kind of figures have been used with cardboard Christmas houses and villages, where do you get appropriate figures today, how do you make, prepair, repair or otherwise maintain figures?

Howard....

Another thank you for posting these little flatties... as you can see, I've been busy following your instructions.
These really are a lot of fun to make, and I will intersperse them with my vintage stuff in December. I decided
to all a little "bling" to your car's headlights ... and I scanned an open roadster from a book, and made up a flattie
using your techniques. A cool ride during this heat wave!

Best regards,

OK Pat

Good morning to all...

OKPat...I see that "someone" has been very, very busy cutting out lots of little tiny pieces of cardboard!...

Who would ever think some of us would get so much pleasure out of creating these wee things from such ordinary materials!...

I've had several inquiries regarding the cardboard I use to make "flattie"...would you share what material you are using?...

By the way...it didn't take me long to find the "bling"... :D

I will be looking forward to seeing them in your display in just a few short months...

My very best regards...Howard...

Do you use the board that has the Styrofoam sandwiched in it Howard? Now I'm curious to know!

Will...

I use two layers of heavy duty poster board laminated together with craft glue...heavy duty poster board is about twice the thickness of ordinary poster board...Bought mine at Walmart...other stores probably have...try michael's crafts, hobby lobby, staples, office max or a local home school supply stores...
