peak & barn roof house in the "pack-o-fun" size

Post by Howard »

good morning...and welcome to 2017!...

here's a small house with an interesting roof line and windows...it's small...in the "pack-o-fun" house size...here's a link to the first series of these houses...

https://www.cardboardchristmas.com/foru ... ?f=2&t=723

i'll let the picture of the vintage original house, my pattern and photo of the finished house tell the story...but if you have any questions just post them here...

my very best regards...howard...

looking good Howard.

I think your snow on the roof is looking "snowier"

Are the arched windows homemade or store bought.

steve...

the windows were "store bought"...i call them "church windows"...i think i got them years ago from ted but never got around to using them until now...i'm pretty sure you can get them from pete ...go here...look for the number "CEL-4"...that's the size i used on this house...

http://cardboardputzhouses.com/marketpl ... indows.htm

the round attic window is just a piece of red acetate...

the snow on the roof is "snow-tex"...i've been using the product for several years now...this coating must be heavier and look "snowier" than usual...

my very best regards...howard...

I really like this little house. It is simple and elegant - a wonderful addition to the pack o' fun collection.

Perfect tribute the original. Love the grey and pink together. I never really thought about that color combo, and when I bought my house, my whole living room was grey with pink trim. :)
