After over a year of not getting the Trains-n-Towns newsletter out, I finally got one out. It contains updates about the O Gauge Polar express and related news and topics.
In addition, I've been playing with the Lionel O Gauge Polar Express and Hogwarts Express, and I have to confess that I am delighted with both of them. If you jump down to the "Trains to Use" forum you'll see two postings.
Amazon even has the Lionel Polar Express is even on sale for a good price at the moment. (if you just want to jump right to that, click the following link:) https://www.amazon.com/Lionel-Polar-Exp ... uage=en_US
Here's the link to the December Trains-n-Towns newsletter, which was started to serve folks with O, On30, and S scale trains, in addition to holiday villages (not much of the latter this month, I'm afraid).

New Trains-n-Towns Newsletter and O Gauge Train News
Re: New Trains-n-Towns Newsletter and O Gauge Train News
Ah, the Lionel Polar Express!...I've be reading the newsletter with renewed interest!...
I've also been searching for inspiration material to design a series of about three to five buildings that will go with the train...but not be exact copies of those in the movie or violate any copyrighted material...I'll probably fall back on my little glitter house build experience for finishes and some details...
There is a chance that with some cosmetic changes the buildings could be adapted to go with the Lionel Hogwarts Express...I can see the same basic structures covered with printed stone graphics...just have to see how the PE project turns out first...
Merry Christmas...
