SEE THIS AMAZING JAPAN PUTZ HOUSE PHOTO NOW!

Please use this forum for photos of your putz villages - some of you don't make your own houses, but you still display a lot of artistry when you combine and arrange them. And the rest of us would love to see your work. Again, it works best if you resize your photos to 800px wide or less before you upload them - Paul

This photo came to us courtesy of the Golden Glow FB page--it in turn came from the JAPAN TIMES. So I checked into them and they have an archive--paid--you know it never occurred to me to use this as a source for info on our houses--but now it does...so as soon as I check out what the subscription rate is--or maybe limited access to their archives, I'm going to sign up if it is not cost prohibitive.

greetings to all...

here's my drawing of what could be done based on a similar (but smaller) house known to exist...see the photo...

it would be a very impressive skyline building...but old howard is probably not going to build one...

again...this is just a starting place...so many trim options...so many windows to cut...

my very best regards...howard.../

Wow Howard I did a sketch of my own but mine is based on the Flatiron Clock house's horizontal bands and punched windows.
But there is a second skyscraper building on the right side of the photo.
Attached is my sketch of the two without dimensions yet. I need to find my pattern for the Flatiron building to get the right proportions.
Is anyone going to tackle this, or these, project(s)?
