Vintage cars

What kind of figures have been used with cardboard Christmas houses and villages, where do you get appropriate figures today, how do you make, prepair, repair or otherwise maintain figures?

Vintage cars

Post by Laurie »

While clearing out my late father-in-law's house this summer, I came across these 3 cars from the late '40s. They are HO scale and made by Lee Stokes Industries. The cars were crudely made and sold in a set of 6 usually that were meant to be painted by the purchaser. These 3 cars show the wear of use around the train set by 4 boys, but I repainted them and I think they'll look great in my Christmas putz village. Of course the convertible coupe might need some explaining. I need a sitting santa to ride in it.
